There will be no official FIFA friendly against the Terciera Division team - Internacional de Madrid CF this January 7th. Instead, it'll be a 'practice game'.
This 'practice game' will not have any bearing whatsoever to any of the team rankings.
Earlier reports about the Spaniard team not coming was because, "We received an e-mail message from CF Madrid last Monday that it was unable to get certification (approval) from the FIFA and had to beg off for the friendly against the Azkals," Philippine Football Federation president Mariano Araneta Jr. said.
Failure in forwarding the friendly application was also downplayed, "FIFA informed us the two-month notice is a requirement that should be followed if we are to hold any future friendly matches in the country," Araneta said.(Related article)

The 'practice game' will be a charity event as well where proceeds of the game will be going to the victims of Sendong in Cagayan de Oro. The Madrid-based team will also do their part of charity work by giving relief goods when they arrive on January 5.
